Costa Rica Waterfall Tours Reviews & Ratings
Second time with this group. The manager, the desk clerk, and the tour guides were all amazing. So polite and friendly. We truly felt they cared about the environment and ensuring we had a great time. Very safe. Lots of checks and balances. Perfect!
This is the second time we did the Canyoning tour, and it was great like last time. Wilson and Josue were excellent guides, and Josue went over and above when he rescued my eyeglasses that were knocked off by the water. I thought they were lost, but he went into the hole and found them! Great family adventure!
We found Costa Rica Waterfall Tours by walking down the main drag in Jaco. We spent a bit of time talking to a lady in the office and booked our tour later that afternoon. We met the driver the next morning at 7:00 am. Our tour had 10 people total (including ourselves) which was a perfect size. Our guide Wilson was funny, friendly, personable and really made the tour. We started at base camp with a traditional Costa Rican breakfast which was the best breakfast we had eaten during our entire trip. We then rode out to the waterfalls while catching the breathtaking views along the way. I loved the camaraderie of our group. Everyone was very encouraging to each other. Cheering each other along. Eventually even Wilson got in the water. It felt like a group of your best buddies going out to the local water hole. This was the topper to our vacation. I can't recommend it enough.
Best tour ever! Josue is great! He drove us from our Jaco hotel to lunch of arroz con pollo, cabbage, and plantain (slightly plain and dry). In a rugged vehicle, we drove through mountains and fields to the trail, which is slightly steep, and only for able-bodied hikers. The waterfalls are amazing, even in dry season. Somewhat small on the explorer tour, cold, and fun to relax and swim. We jumped from 12feet and 30feet into a pool. My hat was unnecessary, as it is all shaded. $80 at the Jaco Walk mall.
This is one of the best experiences I had in Costa Rica. Josue was an excellent guide and showed us some amazing water falls that that were deep in the mountains. He was able to show us the best and safest places to jump from and we had plenty of time to just hang out and swim around.
