About Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur
The famous CheelkaTeela hill of the Aravallis is home to this magnificent fort. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II for the purpose of providing security to the Amber Fort and its adjoining communities from invasions of enemies. To a large extent, the floor plan of the Jaigargh fort resembles the Amer Fort.
The main attraction of the fort is the historical cannon located in its premises named the Jaivana. The Jaivana was the largest cannon of the world which ran on wheels, and was once vital in the political conquests of the royals of Rajasthan. Four temples known as the Laxmi Vilas, Lalit Mandir, Vilas Mandir, and Aram Mandir are also a part of the premises. They also include luxurious stretches of gardens belonging to the royal members of the city. The Fort also houses a chamber of armoury called Shubhat Niwas.
There is also a museum which exhibits the royal art collection along with stamps, cards and other artifacts belonging to the royals. The traditional armour and artillery are also displayed in a separate section.

Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur Reviews
This is place is simply wonderful located near Amer palace in Jaipur. Here is one of the largest canon of India which can throw almost 30-40 km away. Its is very Huge. This is quite a famous place in Jaipur and one of the must visit while here. It is located on the hill top and you might need to hire a taxi/auto-rickshaw to reach this place. The scenic beauty is great here. Enjoy !!!!!
Giant fort having an amazing collection of cannons and some of the most beautiful gardens with breathtaking views you can ever find! Takes a considerable amount of time to climb up to the fort from the road leading to it. You will have the option of taking an elephant ride up to the fort, which is preferred by many, but the walk up the fort is quite rewarding as well with peacock calls and beautiful views if you visit early in the morning or when it's not sunny. The fort is relatively less crowded compared to the adjacent Amber fort or Amer fort. I recommend this fort for its calmness and beautiful views on offer and the collection of cannons. It has one of the world's largest cannons.
Jaigarh Ft is amongst popular traveler locations in Jaipur, the Pink City. Famous for its historic relevance, this ft has a lot of points to use you. It is likewise a hillside leading ft as well as there are 2 methods to go into in it. You could individually go into in the ft or you could get in the ft by means of Brownish-yellow Ft. There is a passage which leads straight to the ft which lies in Brownish-yellow Ft. The passage which is completely covered, after some range opens from leading as well as looks a lot more like a hallway. You could appreciate breath-taking sight of Jaipur city from this location. Excellent historic royal residence. Extremely massive. The most effective water harvesting and also water monitoring system one could see here.that must consisted of as a task research study in our colleges. Canon shop is impressive. Administration needs to offer little even more info concerning functioning of factory. This is heritage royal residence. Individuals need to not compose graffiti on Wall surface and also maintain tidy the royal residence. Creating on wall surface in all heritage structures are criminal offense. Everybody has to go to and also delight in. Preservation not also great as a result of the large range of the ft and also the ft being with the royal family members that may not be having adequate cash to recover it to the maximum level. It has the biggest cannon, and also lovely middle ages fort and also ft royal residence. Great clinical concepts made use of in building to harness natural deposits like rain and also sunshine for lighting. Great experience seeing it as a background aficionado.
The place was really beautiful. We had awesome time here. The view the environment everything was so good. The attracting mountains near to this fort. The stories behind this fort. The fort features a cannon named "Jaivana", which was manufactured in the fort precincts and was then the world's largest cannon on wheels
The Fort is well situated strategically on the entrance of Jaipur from Delhi. And the way this is built, one would need to travel hills all the way to this place. This has lot of water storage capacity just in case of emergency. The Fort houses a canon which was supposed to be very powerful of that time. This fired bomb only once which was told to be landed some 5 kilometers from this place. You would love to drive here by your own. Steep elevated roads may petrify you.
