Jaigarh Fort - Review
The famous CheelkaTeela hill of the Aravallis is home to this magnificent fort. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II for the purpose of providing security to the Amber Fort and its adjoining communities from invasions of enemies. To a large extent, the floor plan of the Jaigargh fort resembles the Amer Fort.
The main attraction of the fort is the historical cannon located in its premises named the Jaivana. The Jaivana was the largest cannon of the world which ran on wheels, and was once vital in the political conquests of the royals of Rajasthan. Four temples known as the Laxmi Vilas, Lalit Mandir, Vilas Mandir, and Aram Mandir are also a part of the premises. They also include luxurious stretches of gardens belonging to the royal members of the city. The Fort also houses a chamber of armoury called Shubhat Niwas.
There is also a museum which exhibits the royal art collection along with stamps, cards and other artifacts belonging to the royals. The traditional armour and artillery are also displayed in a separate section.

Jaigarh Fort, Jaipur Reviews
It is a great place to visit. Even your enjoyment starts from the road which is so interesting due to curves. In the forte historical view is available and you will see feel that how people were lived with a strong 💪 physics. The fort is made on the top of the mountain ⛰ from where living people felt so safe.
This fort overlooks the Amer Fort. It has the world's largest cannon on wheels. So this may be the only reason you should visit this fort. It's not as majestic as the Amer Fort but you can definitely appreciate the architecture and majestic walls of this fort. It also has good sunrise and sunset views. This place sits on almost the entire hill and what's impressive is that they do have a few staircase wells that draw water from surrounding hills which ensures that even if the land surrounding the hill dries up, the fort will always have supply of water. You may not want to spend much time here but at the same time if you are visiting Amer Fort then you shouldn't skip this place.
the place seems very nice to me. i the weather here is hot but you gonna love watching the views from here. you will see the complete view of the Jaipur. in night its feels incredible. many people just go back after they visit the amber fort but i suggest that you should also visit this place too.
A nice fort... Do heir services of a guide... Good from architectural point of view and basically has the display of armoury the view from the garden area is very nice and the main attraction being the canon foundry though the foundry itself is not very well maintained....So People end up thronging the biggest cannon on display... I would say a must visit place as it plays an important role in the history of Jaipur
Good place of historical importance. You get to see some awesome views. Experience the way the royal family and their subjects lived at that time. Their culture and heritage. The way they defended themselves from hostile attacks. The famous Cannon.Nice place to spend time together with family.
