Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple - Review

Built in the early 1800s by Seth Jai Ram Paliwal, this Ganesh temple is extremely important to the people of Jaipur. It is situated upon a picturesque hill. Besides it has an exotic palace that engulfs it. The devotees of the God Ganesh visit this place in huge numbers every year making a very important religious site.

Made of stone and white marble, the place is also of an astonishing size and vastness. The carvings and engravings in the marble tell beautiful stories of aspects of Hindu religion. The idol of Lord Ganesh is placed in the centre of the interior of the temple. The temple features the intense religious faith of the citizens of Jaipur, and the wide regard and devotion towards Lord Ganesh.

  • Located in one of the most prime location in Jaipur. Can be considered as a center of city below Shiv temple. Parking can be easily available on the roads. Two ways to enter in the temple. Good for kids to adults. Management is decent for new cars . Overall a good place to visit with family.

  • Famous lord ganesh temple of Jaipur.... you can found big rush on Wednesday's... Blessed to visited here... feel peace of mind and heart... its really feel when we enter inside the temple.... Beautiful temple... big size statue of lord ganesha... Great religious place with beautiful view around the temple..

  • Really old, prestigious in idols hierarchy, adorned with gold. This temple dates back to the era of kings and queens. It's lord Ganesha is revered the greatest in almost all of Hindu mythology. The main section of the temple gets adorned with the gold donated year on year. At least that's what they say, only God knows where the actual gold goes. I think it's not as maintained as it should be, there was a lot of dust and the floor looked dirty.

  • ।। ॐ गण गणपतये नमः।। Very nice temple of Lord ganesh.. Very much accessible by all kind of vehicles Easily "darshan" within 10-15 minutes Nearby shops of sweets and others. 👍 👍 👍
