About Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur
Situated on the top of the Aravalli hills, The Nahargarh Fort offers a magnificent view of the entire spread of the city of Jaipur. It used to be a defence fort and was built by Maharaja SawaiJai Singh II. It served for the purpose of fortification of the city when it used to be under attack. The fort was also used to shelter and house the British inhabitants and the royal natives during the Sipahi Mutiny of 1857.

The royal suites and rooms of the fort are interconnected through secured passages that are decorated intricately. One of The remarkable additions,MadhavendraBhavan, went on to become the royal residence of the queens of Jaipur, along with the topmost storey being a luxurious suite for the King.

This Fort is a best place to visit in Jaipur. But there is no public transport (govt buses)available . You can hire a auto rickshaw or any four wheeler. You can spend around 5-6 hours easily. Nice place to enjoy peaceful environment. Better take some food items from city to eat in group at fort area ( near by there you find nice space to sit just near by entrance. ) parking management is worst.
Nice place to visit in Jaipur. The place is very well preserved and I think if not been evacuated the king can still live inside. There is a food plaza inside and a restaurant which is run by Hyatt which is very good, though it is bit expensive. The view of city is v good.
Very nice. If possible have your dinner at Nahargarh fort hotel. Beautiful at night. Very nice view of Jaipur city from the top. A must visit while in Jaipur. Tourists should organize their visit in such a way that they can visit three places in one go .1 Amer, 2 Jaigarh fort, 3 Nahargarh Fort.
It is a historical place. Since we are thinking it will has huge building. But thier is no such a huge house it just a normal big building. Good thing it has nicely architect.having a huge protecting walls for main building. Well designed on top of hill.
Stay there. Sit on the top. And Wait for the sunset! Just be there till you are told to get out. Your patience and time will be worthwhile. 😎 Amazing place for photographers and of course couples. 😍
