Radisson Blu Jaipur, Jaipur Reviews
The staff is friendly and co-operative. However the room was a disappointment. The room decor looked dated and worn out. The bathroom had well used look and in need of a renovation. The tiles were chipped in many places, the bath tub had a general appearance of being stained. The flooring of the room was dirty, the carpet worn out. I did not expect such quality from Radisson. The breakfast was average. Definitely I would not be staying in this hotel on my next visit.
The guest area and buffet breakfast area are quite compact and uncomfortable. Radisson Blu Jaipur is not at all fit to be called a 5-star hotel. Of course, it is an economy class hotel. But not in my view a 5-star. Even some 3-star properties are more elegant and customer friendly than this. From outside you can’t imagine it would not be that good inside. That means it passes the outside design norms but not inside. That is why probably it is not too popular among foreign tourists who seek elegance, comfort, and warmth when it comes to a 5-star property. Firstly the name behind this property that of Radisson group doesn’t match with the style of the hotel. Secondly, at a tourist intensive place like Jaipur, it needs to have a classy elegance. Instead, it is not a well maintained and well-managed property. A day before coming here I was in Chennai. My stay there was at Park Hyatt. The number of rooms at both these places are almost equal. At Park Hyatt, it is 200 rooms and 9 floors. Here it is around 180 rooms. But the elegance, upkeep, style, and hospitality are very different. So are the rates though. There it is around 11.5k per night while here it is less than 4k. But still, 5-star property norms and standards are not visible here. There are a lot of conflicts and mismatches here. For instance, the guest area in the main lobby is too compact. At a time it can hardly accommodate 4 families or groups. That too in a miserable manner. I think the management needs to think seriously about some innovative transformation. The big size sofas and chairs at Radisson Blu Jaipur in the lobby and the restaurant Market Place take too much of space in those compact area. Rather reducing their size will not only give come comfortable movement space but also will help in increasing seating capacity. As I could see the hotel is more popular among locals and corporates seeking a good name within tight budgets for meetings, parties, functions, and conferences. So the transformation of the lobby area is important to make it appear spacious, elegant, and classy. Similarly, the main restaurant Marketplace is too full to provide an easy and comfortable movement to its guests for a buffet area or to their respective tables. In fact, the whole restaurant is too short for a 5-star hotel having 160+ rooms. Now, all this doesn’t mean nothing is good here. Obviously, businesses evolve by taking good criticism in a positive manner and then taking small meaningful steps for big impacts. Good things at Marketplace there are two live kitchen counters. One for a variety of omelets. Another for Dosa. The staff keeps asking at your table for tea/coffee/juice. I would have visited their room and other amenities if I had enough time to explore Radisson Blu Jaipur. Maybe on my next visit to Jaipur.

It was a very good stay at the hotel. The rooms are quite spacious with a very comfy bed. The bathroom was even better with a big bath tub. The breakfast buffet was little limited though taste wise it was good. The lobby area was pretty small with only 2 guys at reception counter. Overall a very good stay at a reasonable cost.
Clean rooms, outstanding service, breakfast, lunch and dinner all have highest quality in taste. All business places and airport nearby. Indian chai, best taste till now for me from all my visits. You book single room or double room, facilities will be at par. No compromise
