About 40 Kilometers from the main town, the Sam Sand Dunes are an absolutely stunning natural phenomenon that is a definite must see. When you think of Rajasthan the lovely Thar Desert and this place epitomizes the amazing ethereal beauty that the desert has.

The Sam Sand Dunes are probably best explored on foot as the sand is soft and beautiful but this will get extremely tiring. You can hire a jeep or SUV or take a camel back ride around the area. It is certainly worth the while to view the lovely dunes in the vast and wonderful desert.

If you are lured by the elegant beauty of the desert you can even stay in the tents here which can be found in a variety of price ranges. It is certainly a memorable place to at least visit.

  • It was a great experience of mini desert..... Jeep safari is the main bloodstream of this place. It is really hard to take photos and videos from bumped Ride. That's why I do not have jeep safari photos. Camp stay is fine. Whenever you plan to go for sand safari please reach it between 3 to 4pm. Don't go to Jaisalmer. It is 40km away from Jaisalmer city. If you go directly to sand dunes it will save your 1 whole day.

  • clean and nice hotel. the staff are very friendly here. I had food bug when I got to this hotel, probably from something I had eaten earlier and the staff tried to help in any way they could. the hotel is near touristic spots hence it was easier to get to places nearby. there is a shiv ji temple near by which was just magnificent

  • Superb luxuourous camp site in desert. Mind blowing camp in Sam dunes. Service and food quality very very nice. Good heaping staff. Best desert camp in Sam. We enjoyed our trip in camp. Camp are fully family friendly.

  • DON'T TAKE THE CAMEL RIDES. Its just a small round that they give you. You ultimately will love walking instead of taking a camel. Take water bottles and you will not like the tea they make (roadside ones). Visit around 4.30 or 5 so that you can walk, relax and see the sunset. Of you take camel rides, they charge you for one return journey in which they drop you and leave, and then come back ones the sunset is over. They charge more for staying with you the whole time. I think it's not worth it. I enjoyed walking instead. Best time to visit is December. Thats the time i went. Not so cold not so hot.

  • This has been an Amazing stay we just loved it. Food was good. Garden and pool stands out. Staff was friendly. Room services could have been better but the ambience of resort was outstanding.
