Thar Desert, Jaisalmer Reviews

  • Excellent place to visit. Camel ride and Jeep ride is famous here. Sand storm in summer and too cold climate in winter. Sunrise is attractive here. It is the only desert in Rajasthan, India. Now due to the irrigation facilities agriculture sector developed here.

  • A perfect isolated place for those who need an elope. Best place to chill out if you are fed up with the city life. Since it is a deserted place don't forget to have adequate water and full tank of your vehicle.

  • Calmness of desert with some fun filled experience of camel rides and jeep safari. Staring the sun set sitting on sand dunes. Simply awesome!!

  • Absolutely fantastic place to visit and experience. Excellent road from Jaisalmer to the desert which begins with the Sam sand dunes. Lots of agents who can arrange camel and jeep safaris into the desert. You may even choose to walk into the desert if you wish to. It's safe. You may even carry your own tents and ask the locals and set up tents and stay for the night. There are many desert camps around, which can arrange food and accommodation. Beautiful views across the horizon, especially during sunrise and sunset.
