  • Beautiful area. It has a couple of nice water falls. It's not too rocky - fairly level ground. I need a knee replacement so I have to be careful not to pick a trail that is too steep. Take your time & you will do well walking around on this trail. There are some benches for you to sit on. There are little signs indicating some of the foliage in the area as you are walking around. I do wish there had been a few more signs. So as they say "stop to smell the roses". It wasn't extremely crowded but it was humid. Enjoy yourself..

  • Beautiful and we'll maintained trail. It has pretty gentle elevation changes for new trekkers and is dog friendly (on leash). We will definitely be back.

  • This is a great place for family, friends, and pets. The waterfall is beautiful, but the trails never fail to impress. From remnants of years past to building a small rock tower along the stream, Tanyard is a fantastic spot to disconnect from the buzz of daily life.

  • Family friendly. Paved trail for those with limited mobility. Fun hike with lots of benches. Beautiful creek, interesting rock formations and markers to explain flora and the history of the area.

  • This place is great! You can wade about ankle deep, but they're are also some spots that are about waist deep that are perfect for kids to swim/play around in.
