Dongmung Market - Review
With more than 300 stalls and shops spread out over a large area, this may be Jeju's most popular traditional street market. Moved to its current location after a 1954 fire, the market kept its name and original merchandise traditions. Today, it's the best place in the city to buy fish and huge variety of other seafood, or to buy Jeju's favorite citrus - gamgyul. You can also pick up general groceries, clothes and herbs. Everything is ridiculously cheap. Like local markets everywhere, it's the best way to get to meet the locals. There's not much else to see or do. Instead of buying things raw, you could just eat at one of the nearby restaurants too.

Dongmung Market, Jeju-si Reviews
Its a fun place with many things to buy. Probably the biggest market in Jeju city. You can find all the things you wanna pick up like oodo peanuts, hallabong juice and souvenirs as well.
Very crowded, but people actually line up and the workers do a good job of serving in turns. Dont have to worry about people cutting the lines even though they try. Food options have become very international friendly - lots of fusion and western food as opposed to your traditional korean market foods.
This is the place to be if you are looking to buy local souvenirs. Also we would recommend visiting this place at night where there will be more stalls open at night. Food option is lesser during the day.
Very fresh seaafood. The number of night restaurants are very delicious.. At reasonable price.
very busy at night. good street food. lits to see. need to watch out for water if you are wearing slippers. its quite fishy smelling if you are not used to it. when lots of crowd, its also hot. overall a good experience of a good busy asian market.
