To look at this rock and say it was formed by wind and wave over eons of time would be truthful. But that's not nearly as exciting as saying seeing the shape of the dragon in it its outline, and knowing the legends that speak of its creation. So many tourists have come to see it now, that there are cafes and bars and restaurants all around, making what amounts to a small hamlet. Local women can be seen fishing around the area. Not too far away is a picturesque beach. Don't get your hopes too high. Despite the strong winds and terrific views of the ocean and the coastal road, the actual rock is quite ordinary. To get the correct view of the rock, don't see it from the viewing platform near the road; rather, follow the walking trail and steps for three minutes to get to the other side of the rock, from where the profile most resembles a dragon.

  • Nothing special, it is good for someone who has not seen Iceland. Also I could not see the dragon, maybe my imagination is not that grate. It is a good place to go for a short walk and there is a nice view of the ocean/sea. If you go down on the rocks there seams to be a lot of local people fishing and doing everyday things. Overall it is an OK place to see

  • It's a balcony where you can look out over the ocean and see the rocky cliffs of Jeju. The particular 'Yongduam Rock' does have an interesting shape. Every few minutes an airplane will fly past as it approaches the airport. There were many foreign tourists trying to take pictures, made for an uncomfortable experience.

  • Beautiful at night. Multiple spots to see the Dragon head shaped rock. Wooden steps down to bowling platforms. Not great hand rails as they are only on one side. So be careful.

  • It’s good to take a walk or kill the time if you stay near this place but nothing special here. I even didn’t see the dragon at first sight...

  • Doesn't look much like a dragon head but i can understand the attraction to it. Nice view of the sea
