Jeju Mokgwana is a place of historic importance. It was a site of military structures that were destroyed during the Japanese colonial era. Today, you can get a glimpse of the past while touring the reconstructed buildings on the premises. The structures are rebuilt in such a way that the influence of old Korean architecture is evident. Kids can enjoy historic games here and you can explore the exhibits about the art and heritage of Jeju. As most of the information boards have English translations, Jeju Mokgwana attracts a number of tourists daily.
