A short distance from the city, the 200 metre stretch of road is utterly normal looking, but for one fact. Any car left stationary on the road will start to roll uphill. The same is true for any liquids dropped on the surface. This apparently contemptuous defiance of gravity delights everyone who visits the road. Luckily, this is a mere optical illusion. The countryside around the hill rises high, creating the illusion that the road is rising as well. In truth, there is a slight downslope to the hill. Still, it's a mind-bending sight and absolutely worth checking out!

  • Cool and good experience, car goes uphill itself(against gravity), must be some kind of illusion. Many cars just stop with double signals on and let their cars move up slowly by itself

  • To the layman it is a strange experience to witness the feeling of the coach rolling downward freely when the engine is switched off. And a bottle of water rolling downward and defying the slope that seems to look like a hill slope (upward). All is just an optic illusion that is playing on one's vision.

  • Bring your own water bottle or any ball like to check out the illusion

  • It was a good experience. But the local drove too fast. It was dangerous to the people who did the experiment on the road.

  • Got what we came for, great pit stop for 7-11 after going a hike in the area. Spend about 30min watching other cars trying to do the same thing.
