The Josie Morris cabin is located in Jensen, in the United States. The park has a great many attractions to offer, but the most outstanding is the quarry exhibit hall, which becomes the star of the dinosaur national monument. But the most interesting of them all is The Josie Morris cabin. It is a little ranch at the end of the cub creek. The cabin gets its name from when Josie Bassett Morris occupied the little log cabin until in 1963. The cabin is simple and isolated, and handmade, in a beautiful setting across the creek. It makes you want to live there. The cabin is still there with a spring, some fencing, with an outhouse, a tumbled-down chicken coop, and few other remnants. You can go in and look around; the cabin takes you back in time and makes you wonder how the woman stayed alone and carried on her work for more than half a century.

You can feel her spirit here. In her home and as you walk around her property. Very special place.
A fascinating place. Well-preserved homestead with trails around and interesting flora.
We really enjoyed the look at old Americana. Take the walk back to the canyon wall, past the lake.
Very inspirational story and cute little trail close by. I hold this place dear :)
Beautiful in the spring. The columbine field was amazing. Great little picnic spot plus a great hike with the kids made for an awesome afternoon.
