Exploring any part of Spain is incomplete without encountering an artistic rendezvous! While in Jerez, makes sure to visit the Real Escuela Andaluza Del Arte Ecuestre that is devoted to a rather interesting fact of the ancestral abilities of the Andalusian horse. An art in more ways than one, this devotion is depicted in the various activities that can be seen and participated in. Some of these include Spanish baroque horsemanship, along with a very interesting activity of dressing up and training horses and horsemen for international competitions. You can even witness a fabulous horse show, held several times in a week here. Many visitors who have explore the city as mentioned this attraction as one of the must do things in Jerez.

If you love Horses and Horsemanship then a visit to the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art is a must. Like the Spanish Riding School in Vienna it shows the skill of the trainers, riders and wonderful Discipline those magnificent horses. The School is set in beautiful gardens and is next to the Palace of the Duke of Abrantes. Unfortunately photography is not permitted during the display, however, the show should not be missed.
Though I didn't get a chance to see the show, the museum and the horse training session is really worth the visit. Highly recommend this place!
Spectacular show! We were so amazed. We paid a bit extra for a combination ticket and front row seats. I think the show would be great from any seat, but it was cool to be so close up. No photos allowed during the show. Arrive early so you have plenty of time to explore the grounds and museum!
Incredible experience. The grounds, horses and riders were perfect. A must go if in Jerez regardless of your interest level in equine.
A visit to this riding school was well worth the time. We had a tour with Mercedes. It was obvious from her tour that she loved her work. She was enthusiastic, informative, expressive and fielded all of our questions. We saw the facility through her eyes. If you get a chance to visit this site, do so.....and ask for her.
