An incredibly ornate structure, standing tall in one of the city’s main square, the Catedral de Jerez de la Frontera is counted as one of the best things to do in Jerez. The institution on the basis of which the church is formed is one that dates back to the 12th-century, the year 1264 to be precise. The church, however, was built in the 17th-century. Bearing the title of Asidonense Jerezano, the church stands a testimony to the ancient bishopric era, its institution has flourished through. Depiction of three styles- Baroque, Neoclassical and Gothic, this structure is certain to fill your eyes in awe.

Lovely Cathedral not on the scale of others in Andalusia but still beautiful in its own right. There are plenty of works of religious art to be enjoyed as well as a peaceful little courtyard accessed from the sacristy. Well worth a visit.
Old Cathedral and the icon of the town of Jerez de la Frontera. Its possible to visit the interior or buy beautiful souvenirs at the gift shop.
Amazing building. .. a must visit in jerez
nice cathedral - but don't be fooled by the secret stairs, it's a trap.
