Loved my experience with them
it says it is every 30 min when in fact it is every hour. Be aware sovyou dont freeze while waiting.
Nice, Organized ferry experience connecting Liberty state park and Manhattan
I have been traveling this ferry service for the last 16 years. The service for the most part is very reliable. The crew is wonderful . I have had a posiitive relationship with everyone on board, except for the blonde female crew member that works the AM shift. Her disposition is combative, rude and insulting. She always seems to have an attitude of that of a disgruntled employee. My major complaint about this Statue Cruises employee is that she takes pictures of passengers sailing, without their permission, and sends it to parties unknown to the passenger.
Wasted almost 1.5 hours today trying to use the ferry to get to Manhattan. The ferry malfunctioned and needed service, which happens, understandably. But not only could they not provide any information about how long it would take to repair, but they eventually asked all the waiting customers to wait in the sun (as opposed to under the canopy) for no reason at all. Literally no reason, we weren't in the way. It's the hottest day of the year.
