Long wait to get in, even with a members pass. The staff was super friendly, but the place run down. Need more supervision on the appearance inside. Remember a time when everything was fresh. REALLY need new exhibits. Half the place too dark. Over priced for nothing, get more from a museum. This will be our last time.
Liberty science center is a great place. There were so many camps and children groups on this summer weekday, it was so much more noisy than it's been in the past. The 4th floor was nice and quiet with the fish and turtles, rays and horseshoe crabs. I think it was less loud when we went on a weekend during the school year. There are lots of activities. I highly suggest it! Great views of Manhattan too!
It's good to do something educational every once in a while and this is a good place to start. There is something to do for everyone. Even adults have a lot of fun and the center provides an entertaining way of learning about the world. Our favorite exhibitions were about the animals and viruses and we spent most of our time there.
Love this museum! So many interesting exhibits, and they're constantly changing. It's very informative, in a fun and interactive way. I remember coming here as a child on a school trip - it left an indelible impression on me. It's definitely a very fun way for children(& adults!) to learn about science in a way that is exploratory, sparks imagination, curiosity, and allows them to relate what they're learning back to real life. It really is the best way to learn and wish more schools would have more field trips like this more often! It should be part of the curriculum :))) Even as an adult I still love the museum and am excited to see what's next!
Kids love it here! We get the family membership because we come at least three times a year. Make sure you get here early as it gets packed after 10:30 and the lines for exhibits can be long. Kids really love touch tunnel!
