  • If you're going to take your family here 2 times or more within 365 day period, then definitely get a family membership. It's around $175 and it comes with 6 movie passes. Also around $140 of it is tax deductible. And they partake in a science museum passport program that allows you to visit most science museums--nationally and internationally for free if they are greater than 90 miles away. There are even a couple reciprocity days for museums within 90 miles such as some New York City museums including the Intrepid.

  • Their extra event stuff and laser light show whatever was not well it but, still adequate. However, the default exhibits are incredible and, well worth the price and the time. You will need the time too, as there are a lot of exhibits. I was very happy we went here!

  • Really nice staff warm and welcoming. The toilets are nicely located for easy access.my toddler loves to spend time in 2nd floor but my older kids sometimes feel this place should be a bit more fun.

  • Pros: -It's large which is a plus so no matter your age group you'll find something interesting. - The animal section was very nice , clean , well lit and designed so you could clearly find and see the critter that was on display. The setups were EVEN better than Some Zoos! -We went on a Thursday 10/19/17 and it was not crowded at all but they only had one cashier at the entrance. -Staff was friendly and helpful! -Electric car friendly Cons: -For a place that's about science and teaching the younger generation THEY DO NOT RECYCLE at the cafeteria!!! WHY? -MANY displays were either worn down, broken, missing pieces or not functioning properly. - Expensive with add on shows

  • Great place to visit. It's very educational & hands on which the kids absolutely love. I would definitely recommend a trip with the family. There is so much to do. Be forewarned though... it can be a bit pricey especially the food & gift shop. Other than that everything else is great.
