Great staff, clean facility and plenty of parking. Unfortunately you need to pay for parking. Kids always have a great time. Easy check the schedule for times of several very cool shows. There are lots of exhibits that appeal to a wide range of ages. The outdoor space with the playground area is an excellent addition to the usual science museum attractions. Having exhibits across 4 floors made it feel spacious and less crowded than it definitely was. Wonderful educational resources with great exhibits and views. Cafeteria is small, but actually good for a museum.
I was there for the art after dark event where they had quiet clubbing. It was awesome! We partied on the main floor but we were able to walk around to see all the exhibits. It's a great place to bring a date or kids to run around and experiment.
I've been coming here since I was a kid and now that I have kids of my own, I still love it. First off this place is huge so I recommend comfy shoes and arrive b4 lunch if you plan on seeing all the exhibits. There are tons of interactive thing to do and they keep current with STEM and events.
I've been going to this place for years. I love the iMax theater, the laser show among other great science attractions for kids. They have new exhibits every so often and they are normally very interesting. The touch tunnel is hugely popular. Food selection is ample in the main concession and there is plenty of room and tables for eating. They have a series of cool demonstrations ala myth busters throughout the day, some are jaw dropping. The place is huge so there is plenty of room to move around. The gift shop is amazing on its own right. One can bring a family with kids for a full day of fun. It's easy to access from the highways.
Took a 14 and 12 year old here and everyone had an amazing day. Besides the education factor the kids get more out of it because of there interaction. It's also a great way to burn a rainy day. And get the kids super tired is the parental bonus factor!
