The ammunition hill was built during the 1930’s by the British was a storage facility for their ammunition. In 1948, the Arabs gained control of the Hill in the Arab-Israeli War.
The bunker used during the war now accommodates a Museum and you can see just how this incident affected Israel’s history.
182 Olive trees were planted at the site as a tribute to the 182 Israeli soldiers who lost their Lives during the 6-Day War.
