The Burnt House is the house of the Katros family (a priestly family), which was burnt when the Romans captured Jerusalem in 70 CE. The house was one of many which were occupied by the temple priests and after the Temple was damaged, the houses and building located closeby were damaged too.
The Katros house gives you a peak into the lifestyle of the Priestly families.
