  • Man. What can I say. The first 30 seconds inside the lobby and I felt at home. Not only did the staff treat my like I was their own child, they adopted me and brought me into their homes. I was able to have a Bar Mitzvah for the first time the very next day. Jerusalem gardens gave me the chance to express how I really feel about my inner thoughts on the Israel lifestyle. Despite this good experience, there were some moments where I had to stop and question my life. There was only one towel in the bathroom that my family of 8 had to share. I was the 5th person to shower and by the time it was my turn to use the towel it smelled like wet crotch. Also, no toilet paper, had to use hand.

  • Huge suite. Great view. Not much by way of food in room service. All amenities. Very comfortable. We had access to the open terrace/roof too

  • This hotel is in need of renovation. But everything else is top notch. There is an outdoor pool, an indoor pool and a fitness centre. There is also a first-rate restaurant on the top floor with excellent food and a stunning view. I would definitely come here again.

  • It's a nice hotel for Israel, but falls short of most American standards. The ATM in the lobby will only give you shekels, which isn't necessarily an issue, but is a thing. The beds are incredibly narrow, something that seems to be consistent across all of Israel. The thing that really gets me are the weddings. In 3 nights of staying here, there have been 3 weddings celebrated by the pool. So if your room is facing the outdoor pool, you won't be able to sleep until the music stops usually sometime around 11 pm. My room is on the 7th floor (which is actually the 8th because rooms start in floor 0) and the music from the weddings are extremely loud all the way up there. If you plan to be out on the town or at the bar until late, the noise won't be an issue. But don't bring your family here expecting to put the kids to bed by 9. One more thing, this hotel is a 5 minute walk from a train station, which makes it extremely easy to get to shops, restaurants, and pubs .

  • No air-conditioning. Comfortable beds. Dirty. Noisy. Breakfast is nice. But an American wants air-conditioning in the summmer so a room that is much hotter than outside at night time is a non-starter.
