About The Cardo, Jerusalem

The Cardo is a historical street located in the Jewish Quarter which was the main street during the Roman era. The whole city bustled with life then and till today, the number of shops open here are a good way to shop for gifts for loved ones and admire the old-world charm of the street.

In a sense, the street carries a new vibe but at its core- the pillars, columns and stone pebbled ground of the whole area holds its history at its heart.
