Amazing views from above. Very spacious cave with amazing rock formations. It's fascinating how ancient it is, how many different races have been through it and for how many purposes it had been used. History preserved in every crevice. It's a pity they close at 3:30 pm daily. I wish they would open longer.
You don't know what huge is until you've entered this spectacular cave. It's a quick walk, it takes about 25 minutes, if you are fast. Which you should avoid. Take your time. There's an audio guide and staff on site that helps you thru the stairs, down and up again. You will marvel at something unique and very impressive.
A must visit with the kids. Our three year old was more impressed than her grumpy 13 year old brother but a fun guided tour underground. Lots of steps down and back up as you would imagine but otherwise suitable for all ages.
You can buy a combine ticket at the museum for the cave, Nerja museum and the small train. The train takes you to the cave and back and you have a booked appointment to enter into the cave with a guided tour. Also there is small walk around outside of the caves if you have spare time. The cave itself is stunning and worth to go. Lots of stairs up and down. We had a very time.
Access and personal radio guide good. Guide could have been better at pointing out features in the caves. Impressive caves, but still a cave!
