Jhansi Fort - Review
The Jhansi Fort served as an abode, from the 11th to 17th century, to the Chandela Kings. Standing tall today in the centre of the city, this fort is easily reachable and is a must on every list of things to do in Jhansi. While the fort looks raw and rugged, enduring the sunlight, it is in the night that it transforms into this golden panorama, beautifully lit up with lights. Visit this place if you are a history buff or just enjoy panoramic views. There’s an annual Jhansi Mahotsav, sometime between Jan-Feb.

Jhansi Fort, Jhansi Reviews
It stands witness to Great Rani of Jhansi & first war of Independence in 1857... Strategically located on rocky hill. Takes you to the era of valor & sacrifices....
one of the best fort I had ever seen. It seems very beautiful in day time and also looks beautiful in the night time when sound and light show is started. Fort is covered with beautiful lights and proper sounds arrangements are there for the night show. For the day a nominal ticket of 15 rupee to see the whole fort and for the night show 50 rupee's were charges per person for foreign it's may different.
Jhansi fort is very famous. if you ever visit jhansi, must visit fort. Parking facility is there for which you have to pay. Buy ticket then you can see by your own or can consult guide. Their is a renowned shiv temple inside the fort and many tunnels. one of the famous tunnel which connect Jhansi via gwalior, but now closed. You can also see the old prisoner cells and the view from the fort is wonderful.
Got an amazing insight into the life of the great Rani of Jhansi! Thanks to the cooperative and friendly staff from the archaeological survey of India for explaining everything about the fort clearly! Would recommend to anyone visiting Jhansi to visit especially in the evening. Get a breathtaking view of the city from the fort!
