Wayward Inn - Review

Wayward Inn is located on the outskirts of the mountains right on the border of Ghiyagi and Sojha, this place is nestled in the hills, with a river flowing underneath this place, the wayward Inn is the haven for people looking for seclusion and reconnection with nature. The rooms are very basic but comfortable with bedding and blankets and are very clean. The food served is very simple and home cooked food. The Jibhi market is a stroll downhill, and the town Sojha is some kilometers uphill. You can contact the owner to arrange a visit to jalori pass and also organise treks as he is an experienced trek guide himself.

  • An absolutely serene Homestay in the middle of mountains filled with dense forest. Immense quiet and peace is how one would describe this location. Extremely humble and cordial host. The foods served here is homely and fresh. One might need a means of transport to nearby treks and sightseeing. I definitely recommend this wonderous place to any peace-seeker.

  • 5 stars for the hospitality, unforgettable trek and night camping in the forest. We stayed here for 3 days. The day we checked in, we didn't do much except relaxing sipping the coffee and enjoying the surroundings. It has a road right next to the property. We were served an amazing dinner and the following day we started for our 15km trek. We set off at around 11 AM after having sumptuous breakfast. Pls do try their paranthas and orange juice. We were 4 of us and 4 of the staff from wayward inn. It was an awesome experience and the pictures say it all. Ved is a wonderful host and would definitely like to visit again sometime.

  • Extremely friendly people and lovely hospitality, they give personalised care to everyone. Definitely worth the stay.

  • I wish I could have given 10 stars...this homestay is in lap of nature and the view is mesmerising and it is on the way to jhibhi from sojha and ved and his family are so kind hearted...we stayed here for 3 days out of our 8 day trip which is complete worth I can say and the was awesome...we always wanted to visit offbeat places and ved took us to a 15kms trek(2 days, 1 night camping) to Raghupur fort which was our first time multiday trekking experience...words fall short to explain how beautiful it was...and the view we woke to in camping was mesmerising...and the complete thali we had that night in camping was the tastiest one i can say(we never expected we could have thali in the middle of that dense forest)...all thanks to Ved and his team. Unforgettable experience!!

  • Nice place with very much courteous staff. Perfect food.
