Jim Thorpe Memorial Hall Reviews & Ratings
I've been coming here since I was a little kid the park has definitely changed but the atmosphere of fun has not. Now I think my son there and he absolutely loved it it's cool seeing him play on some of the same things I used to do around and also on all the new equipment. I would absolutely recommend this park to anyone who is visiting the the area or who lives there already it's a beautiful Park very well-maintained right next to the police station so you know it's safe and also right next to the skating rink
I was confused because several Google users have misplaced pictures of Jim Thorpe's gravesite or the statues commemorating him here. THIS is not THAT. There is a little hall here for events and a park and playground. For the gravesite, look further north on 903.
So sad the bs Jim's wife pulled with his remains. When I found out he wasn't from Mauch Chunk, or even Pennsylvania, I was disgusted.
One of the most beautiful quaint towns in Pennsylvania
Always a great place to take our son to the playground. Clean, organized, and safe.
