This is an annual "end of the year" family trip for our Boy Scout Troop. We usually have 30-40 people, scouts, siblings, and parents. We do the family package; which includes grilled hot dogs or PB&J sandwiches. It's a great day. The guides are ALWAYS friendly and entertaining. We highly recommend PWW.
Our guides Tom and Jim did a great job. The physical facilities were well maintained and the check-in process was efficient. Our issues were: we were a group of 23 and told wet suits were included in our package - at the last minute we were told we had to pay for wet suits. Second, the website advertised a snack on our trek but the small print stated a snack was not provided to group rates. We are lucky we noticed it ourselves because no one told us this. Many of the wetsuits smelled.
Super fun place!! Loved the experience. Highly recommended for people who love a good outing without electronics (phone). Guides are very helpful and nice. Surroundings and facilities are top notch :)
Awesome trip through the Lehigh Gorge. This is an absolutely exhilarating trip with beautiful scenery. The river guides are knowledgeable and make the trip a wonderful experience!!
We went for the Whitewater Dam Release, it was a fun time and pretty exhausting. The only problem we had is we went with one of the guide named Pete and he was very impatient with our group. Most of our group have English as second language and Pete was yelling at us like a boot camp seargant when we're trying to take a seat on the raft, we couldn't comprehend exactly what he want from us since most of us don't speak English very well and all he did was yelled at us in front of everyone. thankfully our tour guide Spag (I think that's his name) definitely made it up with his great personality. Overall a fun experience, if you're going for the rafting try avoiding Pete!
