The constitutional Hill is the best place to go to if you want to learn about the history and heritage of this Country,it used to be a prison back in the apartheid Era,so you get the feel of how people who fought for freedom were treated like. You can take tours inside the old historic prison and see how they slept and see pictures and hear some of the recording of what used to happen inside some of the jail wards. I learnt a lot and all I can say is it changes people's perspective so go out there learn and explore.
Such a historic site and a very breath I took there made me realize how far this beautiful country has come and how far it still has to go! And like the opening line of preamble of our Constitution I'm reminded that the "We" simply is the collective ideas and cultures, that can make it break the soul of this country.
Beautiful venue. Went to a Obrigado event. The place is lovely. I wish one could walk, see and learn more about the history.
Cool space. Free events. Scenic. Nice but strict security guards. Annoying voices from the speaker going on and on in a loop. Exterior art work of an exposed man, gives me mixed feelings.
History runs deep here. Stories of Nelson Mandela, Ghandi and other opposition fighters. Good and knowledgeable tour guides
