Cradle Of Humankind, Johannesburg Reviews
Was pleasantly surprised after entering the "hill" amazing experience for the whole family, reading all the info available to you will take hours if not days, amazing building that hides secrets begging to be explored. Whole place is air-conditioned inside.
Loved our visit to Sterkfontein Caves, traveled to visit specifically Cradle of Humankind. It does not exist in the location as marked on Google Maps. Travelling here takes you to the middle of nowhere down a rocky bumpy dirt road. Scenery was lovely enroute.
Great outing for the whole family! There is a cool boat ride, gift shops and lots of amazing history. Wear flat shoes if you plan to walk the cave. We did get a bit lost on our way.. So have a map handy.
This is a World heritage site and thankful that it is. It is so beautiful and amazing inside. The tours are awesome and the staff there are so knowledgeable and friendly, answering every question and making everything and everyone feels so important. The best part of the trip is the other tourists, it’s fun to be in the groups and getting to explore the growing items in the collection.
Wonderfully done place. Takes us to the origins of human evolution, good activities for all age groups. Facilities are ample - restaurants, sovenier shops, guides, cave adventure and parking.
