Spread across an area of approximately 1200 hectares, the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve is a privately owned game reserve that was opened to the public in the year 1990. Here at the reserve, you would get the chance to see a wide variety of animals including a few endangered species like rhinos, lions, vultures, and cheetas. Also, within the reserve is the Wonder Cave which is the 3rd largest cave chamber in South Africa and is said to be somewhere around 2.2 billion years old. The cave has approximately fourteen stalagmite and stalactite formations that are up to fifteen meters high and most of them are still growing. By visiting the Nature reserve, you would not only get to see the endangered species but also some interesting formations that are worth admiring.
