Legoland Malaysia, Johor Bahru Reviews
We drive there so as far as accessibility is concern, we have no issue reaching there. Our first time there at the Legoland. It's pretty fun - has a good mix of kids rides as well as thrilling rides chartered for the adults. We went on a Sun, and surprisingly, the queue for the rides are not as bad as I thought. The service personnel there are friendly and approachable. I recommend whoever has not been there before to go at least once for the experience. Have fun!
To mykad holders, purchasing the ticket on the spot is way cheaper as there's a discounted price for you. High recommended go do so. The dry park is great for children , lots of activity for them to do, do have spare clothes as it can get rather hot under the humid weather. There's also a 4D cinema to cool off if you're feeling too stuffy. Pretty awesome side effects I may put. However, as for the water park, is so so. One ride was under maintenance even though there's limited choices. Nice place to cool off after the dry park. Not recommended to only visit here for the wet park.
I've been many times now. Great if you have children 8yrs and older, cos they can ride all the rides. I recommend bringing a change of clothes, and saving the wet ride (the one you sit in a boat and plunge down a mountain with a huge splash) for the last. You really get soaking wet even though the attendants tell you it's just a spray. Don't bother with a raincoat as it doesn't help much. Just enjoy the ride (we go over and over and over till Legoland is closing) and then change into dry clothes, head to the shops to pick up souvenirs and then head out for dinner.
The water theme park is not bad. Plenty of rides, the water seems okay. Not cloudy or dirty. Still the water quality can improved on especially the waves pool. Overall very fun place to chill and have fun with family. Better to spend the whole day at one place then to split two places. The Legoland theme park itself is old and lack maintenance. When it was first build many criteria like weather was not seriously considered. The rides are okay, but the park is really degrading year by the year.
