Architecturally stunning, the former State Secretariat Building (aka Sultan Ibrahim Building) has an intrinsic Saracenic architectural design. The building was constructed between 1936 and 1939 by the British to streamline their colonial administration. The structure is no longer the State Secretariat building as the administration has shifted to Kota Iskandar at Nusa Jaya. One can check out the exteriors of the building along with its lawns. Entry into the building is restricted.

Trivia: It also acts as a venue for the Johor Arts Festival and other civic activities.
