The Sedona Airport Overlook is the place to be if you wish to get spectacular views of iconic Sedona red rocks like Chimney Rock, Thunder Mountain, Sugarloaf and more. Sunset is unquestionably the best time to visit to capture those spellbinding pictures but some of the most dramatic ones are taken usually five minutes after the sundown or later. The panoramic and bird’s eye view of the surrounding from the Sedona Airport Overlook is what attracts people from far and wide. Sedona Airport Overlook Reviews & Ratings
Some good views and a short walk to lookout. Odd entry to parking, and easy to miss due to no entry sign. Has a $3 parking fee, but is without any amenities such as seating or tables. Free limited parking a minute or so before this seems a better option.
This place is something else. I am so glad we made the stop. Next time we will arrive earlier to get closer parking. Bathrooms are available. You must pay for parking before entrance. The views are spectacular and many people are there to see it for themselves. It is crowded but worth it. We brought our children and they loved it just as much! When in Sedona this is a place that is a must see for a sunset view. The red rock is stunning and I’ve never seen anything like it. I hope to go there again soon!
One of the best places in Sedona to catch the sunrise or sunset. Amazing views and anyone of any skill level should be able to enjoy this scenic lookout.
A nice lookout to view the city and landscape. Can catch a nice view of sunset. As the road leading upto it is narrow, there is usually a traffic buildup at sunset time. Parking should not be an issue though.
We had a huge group from church spend the day in Sedona. We had such a great time together of course we ate very well. Pastor Luis and Norma are always planning fun things for the Youth at church, we are only 55 years and older!! This is actually called the Caleb Ministry.
