  • It's a bus stop/souvenir shop/tourist information center/ticket booth/ferry waiting room. You can get a map of naoshima and teshima and timetable here. You can also get a post card by finishing the questionnaire (about your satisfaction of naoshima) and hanging to the staffs.

  • When you arrive, you should be able to see a big cute Red Pumpkin near the ship boarding area. This is by the famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama! You will be able to rent bicycle just across the road. If cycling is not your cup of tea, there is a bus that goes round the island.

  • Great set of unusual things to see. Rent a bike to make it more enjoyable.

  • clean, punctual and beautiful environment.

  • Beautiful pier, in particular the glasshouse. Nice stopover for an ice-cream before ship boarding or museum visits
