Take a swimming tour with dolphins or simply look at them from your boat build on purpose off the Kaikoura coast, which is amongst the world’s top locations for seals, whales and dolphins. In close proximity to the Christ church, this would be amongst your best experience in New Zealand. The dolphins are enchanting and startling. The trip must be planned on a calmer day so that you can see the dolphins from far.

Seeing over 100 of dolphins playing, jumping in the water and doing back flips is just phenomenal. A great place to take your kids out and have fun while watching the wildlife views in Kaikoura.

  • Swimming with dolphins was like a childhood dream that was finally coming true! The price is not excessive and the experience was great! My only regret is that my diving mask was not suitable at all, even changing it several times. The water was seeping all the time and I ended up swimming by holding it and going up all the time to see properly. This somewhat upset my experience as I wasting precious time in the water to constantly remove water from my mask. But it was still magic and I was happy ! After the dive, there is also some time to see the dolphins and photograph them, that's cool !

  • Had an incredible time at the Dolphin Encounters! Had to wake up at 5 to make it there but it was well worth it. I was afraid we were only going to see a few dolphins, and it did take about a half hour from launch until we saw a few. However, the longer the tour went on, the more dolphins began to appear until by the end of the tour there might have been over 100. Swimming with the them was an experience I'll never forget; the memory of two dolphins swimming circles around me is something that made the admission worth it right there. We ended the tour with a photoshoot on the boat and the dolphins were doing flips right in front of us. Incredible experience.

  • Great cafe. Had mushrooms and spinach on ciabatta. Recommend a poached egg to go with that. Interesting knic nakes on sale.
