Kona Coast Resort Reviews & Ratings

  • We enjoyed our stay here a lot. It's not a 5 star hotel. But that's not what we were here for. I give it 5 star for convenience, cleanness, comfort and the friendliness of the staff. And it's actually a pretty nice resort!! We had no complaints. A little bonus:the coffee they kept in our room for us to brew was some of the best we ever had :) thank you

  • For the price it was a great deal. Some of the greatest sunsets and sunrises I was able to see from the Kona Coast Resort. The resort was very well taken care of. They have a nice pool by a restaurant/bar and also a nice Jacuzzi that has a nice view to the ocean. The food is good for a hotel. Some nights they have free snacks and live entertainment which is a plus. The only downside I see, is that there is no beach you can just walk to from the resort. The coast line is rocky near the Resort that there is no actual pathway to just chill by the coast line. Otherwise I recommend it for its pricing and honestly some of the best sunsets and sunrises in Kona.

  • Very well-appointed place. We stayed at a second-story in a one-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable the kitchen was big and spacious. The place had several Jacuzzi tubs and couple of pools. Free tennis courts in volleyball court. They also had free Herbs next to the grill stations for grilling. We really enjoyed our weekly stay there.

  • Spacious condos. Good pools and amenities on site. We stayed on our timeshare and would've liked an ocean view but not many of the condos have views on the property. Staff is all wonderful. Good location to attractions.

  • The last 2 days i called to tell them that i had one live and 2 dead cockroach in my unit. They came and removed them each time, they sprayed again. I leave Monday, but i won't stay here, this is a Wyndham property. I expected better. No daily cleaning services only light cleaning (i was told) on Sunday's. In these cases even for timeshare resort uses if someone is renting the units, (from a 3rd party) daily cleaning (roach removal) should be mandatory. Thank God i didn't go to the timeshare information site about this place.
