  • This is a cute little museum. It is good for an hour stop to learn more about the plants and animals of Greece. The mushroom part has a lot of very interesting information. This is especially good for kids.

  • Very unusual museum in a beautiful semi-city. Educational for children, fascinating taxidermy for all. Wonderful staff, well-informed, who delight in answering questions. The downstairs is filled with interesting dioramas containing wildlife. Upstairs is a mushroom museum - free mushroom tasting! The museum has many mushroom food products they have designed and had packaged... also olive products. Children's toys and other gifts available.

  • A great experience although the place is a little small, museum of mushrooms coupled with birds. Learned a great deal from today's visit. Most importantly, very friendly, nice and helpful museum's staffs.

  • It is a small museum and as the name suggests it is about the natural history. Our kids found it interesting. Which was very nice. The mushrooms on the 1st floor are nice. The display is quite informative. It is close to the railway station. Meteora is a must visit. Plan to stay for a day or two instead for a daytrip.

  • Really enjoyed the mushroom museum. It's something so different, laid out well and was able to try some mushrooms at the end. Would recommend.
