Diros Caves are beautiful in an enigmatic, ethereal way. After reaching your destination, you have to buy a ticket for the experience. Followed by this, you will be given a life jacket and you have to go down to an underground waterway where you have to board a boat with 8 other people. The boatman will give you a rough summary of what you see, and take you through an intricate combination of passages. Full of stalactites and stalagmites, these natural structures take your breath away. Around 40 minutes later, you disembark and explore the rest of the caves on foot. However, during peak season, it is difficult to secure a ticket. Hence it is advisable to book one beforehand.
