Polylimnio Waterfalls, Kalamata Reviews
Beautiful natural location with small waterfalls. The access is easy by car as well as the hiking path in general, except some spots which attention is needed( e.g. with ropes, stairs at the rocks e.t.c.). The visitor may swim in the cool and crystal waters of the small lakes. It is more popular and crowdy destination during the summer days.
Pretty hard to reach the place (including rough parts of the road), but the destination will make up for it. Lovely scenery in the middle of nowhere, with a number of waterfalls (the largest one at the top and smaller ones closer to the entrance) forming pools in which you can swim. Icy cold but clean water. As other already advised: Don't come with your sandals (walking on the rocks during the route will make your life hard) and bring supplies with you (coffee, water and snacks) as there is nothing around. In fact there is a tap at the beginning of the route, but I am not sure if the water is potable (comes through plastic pipes and was warm, so I wouldn't trust that). Plenty of parking space before the path is also convenient.
The descent into the waterfall is steep, but quite short. The creek is nice and the waterfall pool would make you want to swim. But note that the water is very cold.
My favourite stop on my holiday. It's a small waterfall but beautiful and the water is so fresh, crisp and cold! It's perfect on a hot day. Wear closed shoes to walk there from the parking area. Not a long walk but there's a few rocks and uneven bits.
A beautiful place with waterfalls & lakes. Difficult to cross for infants or elderly people
