Renowned as one of the most visited sightseeing spots in Kalimpong, it has more than a hundred species of cactus and orchids at display. All types of cactus and orchid plants are well grown. Some of them are even very large in size. At the entrance itself you’d see large fibreglass greenhouses, inside which various types of cactus are kept. Resting at the foothills of the Himalayas, it is a collection of all kinds and types of cacti. Once you enter the greenhouse, you will feel immense heat. It is an amazing sight to have so many species of cactus in the lap of a hill station. You’ll find North, South and Central American species of cactus plants here. • Wearing of footwear and shoes is allowed.
• It is hot inside the greenhouse.
• Try visiting on the cooler parts of the day.

• Children below 5 years of age do not require ticket to enter.

• By Bus: Tista Bazar Bus Stop and Chitrey Bus Stop are the nearest bus stations to this place.
