Visit this historic church that has been built in neo Romanesque style of architecture. Its building was designed by the architects Friedrich Heitmann and Franz Krah to serve the communities ofAmalienau, Mittelhufen, and Vorderhufen. This protestant church that was consecrated in 1901 ceased to be a place of worship after the World War II when it was heavily destroyed. Today it houses a famous puppet theatre, quite a favorite amongst the children. Outside its building, you can relax and see your children playing in its vast gardens.
