This museum, which is declared as a world heritage site by the UNESCO, is home to a large plethora of ancient artifacts. It has four main galleries, and also a model of the Hampi valley. It consists various antediluvian objects, and also the statues of various Hindu Gods. These include Durga, Shakti, Ganesha, Karthikeya and more. The denominations of the Vijayanagara Dynasty are also kept on display. In addition to this, there are some marvelous sculptures of Krishnadevaraya and his queens at the entrance. Some primordial and prehistoric antiques are also displayed in the fourth gallery. In the same gallery, there is an information desk to help the visitors.
