It is a traditional Japanese guest house, minshuku ginmatsu, is in the heart of the geisha district in Kanazawa. The location is a bit hard to find and drive into even if you are having a GPS. But it is all worth the trouble. The rooms at minshuku ginmatsu are traditional with lovely traditional minhukutatami mat rooms and futon beds. Toilets and bathrooms were shared, the dining area is also shared, with facilities for everyone to use, like fridge, kettle microwave cutlery etc. The owners are very helpful and friendly. So, if you want to experience Japan the traditional way, this is the best place.
