We looked on your website for the times for milking the sheep and it says 2.00 to 3.30. We arrived at 2.15, a family of 11 (5 grand children) and were rudely told “they were milked at 12.00 and the next one was at 5.00 when the shop is closed.” We had arranged our whole day of tours based on the details on the website. They had only been open for 2 hours and had no food left as well as no scones. We were also looking for afternoon tea. We had been there previously and were not charged for tasting. This time it was $2 for 4 small pieces.
Please read the reviews first and don't waste your time. I feel sorry for being inconvenient to the sales person. Being a tourist on holidays at afternoon tea time meant we had money to spend. Rude sales staff resulted in our family leaving without spending a cent and the kids being disappointed
Very rude and inattentive staff, questionable food standards, $2 to taste very small pieces...
The cheeses were ok. It would have been a nice experience to watch how the sheep are milked but the show never happened. We were told the milking was at 12, then 12:30 and now it's 13:15 and we have to leave without watching it, since we already wasted our time. They said they didn't know what was happening and that the people are on the way although we could see them just standing around the sheep. We were there for two hours and we purchased 2 cheeses, 1 honey yougurt and 1 fig cheesecake (which was good) already. In this case they could have given us a glass of wine maybe as a sorry for the long wait, but instead they didnt seem to bother much so we were left with the feeling that they did it on purpose to make people consume more.
Fabulous produce. Exceptional attitude. A great innovative business continuously evolving and growing. Pay a visit totally worth it.
