  • My partner and I just recently went here and booked the private bird show, which we absolutely loved! We had the opportunity to see 8 of their birds, which were all amazing and entertaining! We especially loved the laughing kookaburras, which we requested. Banjo and Clancy were so much fun to hold and interact with. They were so playful flitting between my partner and I while the keeper tried to keep their attention. We were absolutely in love with them. We also got to hold Nellie the wedge tail eagle, she was spectacular. And so gentle as the keeper gave her scratches. The handler was so amazing, she was beyond informative, and funny and clearly passionate about the birds, which was lovely to see. We were absolutely enthralled for the whole hour, which passed so quickly! We just recently moved to the island and we cant wait to go back with our friends and family to see the shows! Thank you for and amazing experience!

  • What a joy. Really interactive, lots of photo opportunities and lovely staff. Plenty of parking. But keep in mind, this is not an "explore around yourself" wildlife park.. its basically just the shows, and thats all you turn up to see. But the show does not disappoint. :)

  • Great friendly staff, the lady in the office gave us recommendations to get the most out of our time and money. The presenters were full of knowledge and really confident in what they were doing and kept us all entertained for a whole hour, we even had a koala who tried to steal the spotlight who was just walking by. The birds do seem to have quite a short attention span and can be quite funny watching the presenters try and get there attention again, food seems to be a winner😁. Best part would definitely being able to hold the wedge tail eagle, that bird is incredible especially when it spreads its wings

  • We greatly enjoyed the three shows available. The shows were a lot more hands on than similar shows we've been to in the past. A highlight of our stay on kangaroo island.

  • With most of the residents having been rescued and nursed back to health by the wonderful group of staff here, it was fabulous to see them flying free and seeming to genuinely enjoy the interaction of the show as much as we did. It was educational, interesting, and a great way for the facility to raise money for the important work that they do. Loved it.
