Payyambalam Beach, Kannur Reviews

  • Its actually located few distance away from the city. Its such a nice place for fabulous evenings. Usually a crowd is seen during festival or holiday seasons. The Beautiful Sunset is the main attraction of people over here. Along with beach there is also a small Park with a cheap fee. Its an extra ordinary feel to sit over there an watch the beautiful sunset.

  • Nice beach to take the family ad enjoy the sun, sand and breeze!!!!! There is a small theme park for the kids to enjoy. Lots of people flying kites too. A good cafe nearby with small great eats! Tip: if you don't have your own transportation, it might be a challenge to find an auto back to the town. The narrow roads can also get congested due to the traffic.

  • Good but not best beach for spending time. Not so clean due to crowd. You will not get chance to see any sea creatures. If you need to enjoy in beach to the fullest them go to Muzhappilangad beach. It's a drive-in beach and clean beach. You will get to see shells, start fish and crabs in the beach. The sunset and sunrise views are good. You will find people selling done eatables near the beach. There is also a park close to the beach.

  • A beautiful serene beach near Kannur town. Clean and quiet place to spend some quality time relaxing. There are a number of beach resorts and home stays along the coast line. Restaurants and bars were hardly seen. Street vendors usually seen in other beaches in Kerala were absent.

  • Secluded beach with not many people. Great spot to just hang out, enjoy the waves and the sand. Not sure how safe it is in the evening. During the day, however, it seems like a great place to chill. Not very far from Kannur, it is easily accessible by car and had a parking for a couple of cars. Overall a nice and clean beach.
