Haun's Mill Historic Site, Kansas City Reviews

  • Don't get stuck on the roof in the rain, beautiful quiet location with a small stream running through. Pays to know the history a bit before coming. Nothing there now. The old bridge near there well worth it for pictures.

  • There isn't much to see or do here, but in some ways that makes the peaceful nature of the place more obvious. It's difficult to get to in inclement weather, but I've been to few more spiritual places.

  • A long way to drive to see a very old stone marker describing the Haun's Mill massacre. It is a nice quiet place next to the creek though. Bring a lunch.

  • Very peaceful setting. A challenge to find. Not much to see just one marker. Someday a monument should be set here.

  • Sacred place. Beautiful place.
