Negro Leagues Baseball Museum Reviews & Ratings
Great experience to take the kiddos and any baseball lovers. Recommend timing your visit so that you can see the promotional video that lasts about 15 minutes. The video highlights many of the artifacts of the museum and will give them context. We will certainly be recommending this museum to other parents.
What a great venue to take in the history and the contribution African Americans made to major league baseball! The museum staff were all so friendly and informative which made the experience even more enjoyable! Can't wait to come back with my son the next time!
Lots to see. In a well air conditioned building. Parking is close and the people who work there are friendly and helpful. Do your self a favor and check out the jazz museum while you are there. There was live music while we were there on a Wednesday afternoon. Well worth a visit baseball fan or no.
This is a great place to enjoy the history of baseball and unite cultures through the sport. Visitors of all backgrounds will appreciate what athletes endured to play the game they loved. The exhibits include various artifacts from the leagues that you won't see or learn about elsewhere. The facility itself is very well maintained and clean.
Don't get me wrong, the story of it all on how the league was started was all good. But,there we're not(if any)ACTUAL things on display that were from w the league when it was going on. That's what a museum is all about.. Replica jerseys don't count.. I guess maybe Cooperstown has the dibs on the "REAL" stuff..
