Largest amusement park close to Wichita, KS therefore this is where you go for thrill rides. Large paid parking lot, lines for entrance move quickly. Many various thrill rides, the big ones have longer waits. Be prepared with sunscreen and quick drying clothes and shoes. Skip the ticket with meal plan, I recommend eating outside of park with a picnic lunch. Food located on sight is rarely "good" but rather low quality, low taste, cardboard fast food. Thrills are fun, food is bland.
We have season passes to world's of fun. We love it! Went to our first Halloween haunt yesterday, it was scary but family fun. I would definitely recommend to anyone even though sometimes the rides are down. It's quite pricey to do anything but you can bring a picnic and there are picnic tables in the parking lot. It's also an easy process to leave for food and come back. If you plan on going more than once season, you should definitely get a season pass, it pays for itself quickly.
Grew up going to WOF all summer. It is a well kept place. Overall it is very fun and there is a lot to do. I'm all about the thrill factor and they have the tallest/fastest rides in the area. Definitely worth going! Haunt during Halloween season is also worth checking out - very elaborate.
I've loved coming here since i was a kid! Lots of rides to choose from. There's a small park -Planet Snoopy- designed just for little kids that's spectacular! The Haunt is a must if you're a Halloween fan. If you go, go during the week; it'll be much more enjoyable. Now that one ticket gets you into worlds of fun and oceans of fun (that's a great deal), going on the weekends is not a great idea. It's super crowded. We've been season pass holders for years and if you buy them in October for the following season, it's a fabulous deal!! Unlimited visits to both parks, discounts on food and tickets for friends and free parking! No pass and it's $17 to park! I'm looking forward to the new Winter Fest this year! 👍👍👍
This review will be based on 5 subjects: Rides, Atmosphere, Food, and scenery. Rides: This park has great rides, 7 coasters in total, with a distinct top 3, and has some good flats as well such as Steel Hawk, Detonator and Mustang Runner. I wished this park would get more attention because it has the possibility of being a GREAT park since they have so much space but just don't use it. Atmosphere: Again, with this not being a huge Cedar Fair park like Cedar Point and King's Island, it will not get as much attention. That applies with the atmosphere as well. I could tell they didn't take care of the park as well as, let's say Cedar Point. Their roads are great! But it just feels more like a Six Flags park to me. But that doesn't mean it is bad, it just means it could use some work. Food: Not much to say here, it just felt like typical theme park food. I had some pretty good chicken and burgers while I was here but nothing special that I noticed. Scenery: Lastly, we have scenery. This is one of those parks that has some pretty good scenery if I say so myself. It is themed to different parts of the world, so like Asia (Boomerang), Americana (Patriot), Africa (Prowler), things like that. It is cool seeing the change in architecture as you navigate through the different areas. Now for the final score. I give it a 4 out of 5. It is fun, but not the best.
