Kanyakumari Beach - Review
Kanyakumari has a fairly large coastline and several beaches. The Kanykumari Beach refers to the beach from where you can see the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar statue.
The two monuments certainly make this beach very popular amongst the tourists but the locals find a wonderful leisure spot in this beach. Kanyakumari being the southernmost point of India, this coast is also considered to be the point where the three seas, i.e. The Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal which surround India meet.
The street food here is cheap and quite tasty so do try that out. There are also some constructions underway that will hopefully provide better facilities for the patrons in the future. This place is definitely a must visit in Kanyakumari. Also, visit the popular attractions in the city by following Kanyakumari itinerary 1 day.

Absolutely majestic!!!! This beach is one of the best beach in country. The sea here is absolutely roaring with big and strong waves, the beach is always windy, a cool gale keeps on passing you. You can let sink in the fact that it's the end point of peninsular India. The beach is clean and without any stench. A Rocky beach which lets you relish the beauty of nature. Must visit.
Amazing sun rise and sun set point. Vivekananda memorial can be reached by ferry. You can view amazing three oceans meeting with distinct water color
The southern tip of India! One of the best place where you can see a sun rise as well as a sunset either or both by your choice. I would suggest for a sunrise early in the morning, which is a stunning glorified view. If you want to witness a sunrise, get a spot early as possible by the beach or for better vision people prefer a spot in the sea bridge. ( Both of them are good spots). And hope to not be a cloudy sky for the better view of sunrise.
Kanyakumari Beach is one of the most pristine beaches in the waterfront town Kanyakumari. It sees the confluence of the Bay of Bengal,Arabian sea and Indian ocean. This is the southern most tip of India. The uneque feature of Kanyakumari is the view of sunrise and sunset over the ocean. Vivekananda rock Memorial is about a few hundred meters from the shore and one can take a ferry to reach it. The oldest and the most ancient landmark in Kanyakumari is the temple dedicated to Goddess Kumari.
The rocky surface of the Kanyakumari Beach might make it hazardous for swimming and bathing but its multi-coloured sand makes it popular amongst the people. If you want to enjoy the music of the rappelling waves and sit by the shore to watch the waters crashing and withdrawing back, Kanyakumari Beach is the place you must seek. While the sunrise and sunsets are a splendid sight, people like careless strolls along the shore. The light house on the beach offers a panoramic view of the beach that forces you to adhere to the shore.
