About Kanyakumari Beach, Kanyakumari

Kanyakumari has a fairly large coastline and several beaches. The Kanykumari Beach refers to the beach from where you can see the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar statue.

The two monuments certainly make this beach very popular amongst the tourists but the locals find a wonderful leisure spot in this beach. Kanyakumari being the southernmost point of India, this coast is also considered to be the point where the three seas, i.e. The Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal which surround India meet.

The street food here is cheap and quite tasty so do try that out. There are also some constructions underway that will hopefully provide better facilities for the patrons in the future. This place is definitely a must visit in Kanyakumari.
