Thiruvalluvar Statue, Kanyakumari Reviews

  • Legend of Tamil. Great poet. People are crazy who forget this huge statue and visits abroad to see big statues must learn that India also has wonder sculpture. Worth visiting. Ferry services running fro kanyakumari to Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue rock. Nearly 3 to 4 hours total required. However in holidays long queue will make you tired for buying tickets. Have 2 to 3 hours time for queue. Ultimately great place.

  • Very nice place. Be there at 5 to 5 30 am to see sunrise. Summer is the best time see sunrise. But little bit hot.

  • Clean and well maintained monument. A statue of Thiruvallur which is 133 ft high and made up of multiple parts. It's not made up of single piece of stone. Toilets are available and free of cost. There is no entry fee for Thiruvallur statue. Have to climb 4 floors through stairs to reach near the statue. If you can't climb the stairs don't go up, instead get a binoculars and see from the bottom itself.

  • It is situated next to Vivekanand memorial, so the ferry ride that takes you to the memorial takes you this place after you are done with memorial. The place is magnificent and once in life time experience to watch. To know the ferry charges and other things read my review on Vivekanand rock memorial as the same ferry connects you here. You will really like the place as it is in midst of Indian Ocean.

  • Place is good, the winds coming over the sea make you feel fresh... Nice experience visiting this place
